About the Role:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Transaction Specialist to join our team at S&L FINE FOODS, INC.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices and expense reports, verifying accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  2. Vendor Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues promptly.
  3. Payment Processing: Prepare and process electronic and paper payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers, in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. Expense Reconciliation: Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of employee expenses, including receipts and approval processes.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records, including invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations.
  6. Expense Reports: Assist employees in completing and submitting expense reports, providing guidance on policy compliance and documentation requirements.
  7. Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
  8. Vendor Inquiries: Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies or issues related to payments promptly and professionally.
  9. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and legal regulations in all accounts payable processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
