Job Title: Facade Designer and Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in façade detailing and quantity takeoffs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems by reviewing architectural and structural plans, using specialized façade software such as AutoCAD and Logikal Software.
  • Perform material and quantity takeoffs by creating summaries in Excel/PDF to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Utilize expertise in façade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems, to deliver high-quality designs and meet client expectations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in façade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems.
  • Proficient in preparing shop drawings and detailed takeoff summaries using software such as AutoCAD, Logikal Software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings, with the ability to identify and resolve design issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
