We're seeking a creative and culturally fluent comedy writer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a creator recognized for sharp writing, memorable characters, and viral storytelling.

The ideal candidate will develop one-minute sketch scripts weekly for recurring and new characters, pitch trending concepts and formats for YouTube Shorts, long-form sketches, and other social platforms, and create character-driven, culturally relevant, female-forward comedy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing 5–6 one-minute sketch scripts weekly for recurring and new characters
  • Pitching trending concepts and formats for YouTube Shorts, long-form sketches, and other social platforms
  • Creating character-driven, culturally relevant, female-forward comedy
  • Utilizing analytics to refine scripts and maximize audience engagement

Requirements:

  • Strong comedic writing and storytelling structure (acts, beats, moments)
  • Deep understanding of online culture, trends, meme cycles, and creator collaborations
  • Ability to adapt tone across comedic styles: absurd, heartfelt, ironic, chaotic
  • Proficiency in developing recurring characters and sustainable sketch formulas
  • Capacity to work quickly, iterate ideas, and meet tight deadlines
