Database Expert Role

This is a highly skilled position responsible for the core infrastructure that powers a high-growth, global platform. The database clusters, load balancers, and Linux/Azure systems managed will be the engine driving the entire platform—supporting thousands of companies around the world in real time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and optimize MariaDB clusters and MaxScale load balancers for high availability.
  • Administer Ubuntu Linux servers on Azure VMs, including patching, tuning, and automation.
  • Manage and optimize Azure resources including Traffic Manager, load balancers, and networking.
Requirements
  • 3+ years as a MySQL or Maria DBA (cloud or hybrid).
  • Strong skills in MariaDB clustering and replication preferred but not required.
  • Hands-on Linux (Ubuntu) and Azure administration experience.
  • Performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery know-how.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, scripting).
  • Experience with security compliance in regulated environments (e.g., SOX, HIPAA).
  • Knowledge of large-scale, high-availability systems.
