The Multimedia Specialist at Newport World Resorts is responsible for planning and executing video and photo shoots from concept to delivery.

This role involves operating professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and a gimbal stabilizer. The successful candidate will also be involved in post-production work such as video editing and photo selection/editing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute video and photo shoots, from concept development to final product delivery.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards.
  • Operate professional video and photo cameras, lenses, and related equipment.
  • Proficiently use and understand various lighting techniques and equipment to achieve desired visual effects.
  • Expertly operate a gimbal stabilizer for smooth and professional video footage.
  • Edit video footage, including assembling, color correcting, and adding sound effects and music.
  • Select and edit photographs for optimal impact and clarity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia or other similar courses.
  • Preferably has three years experience in the same field.
  • Must possess basic knowledge of editing and cinematography.
  • Demonstrable expertise in operating professional video and photo cameras, lenses, and accessories.
  • Strong understanding of lighting principles and the ability to use various lighting equipment to create desired moods and effects.
  • Proficient in operating and balancing gimbal stabilizers for smooth and professional video capture.
  • Understanding of audio recording techniques and equipment.
  • Mastery of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of visual composition, storytelling principles, and the ability to create compelling narratives through video and photography.
