The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of complex software applications using PHP and Laravel framework. This is a challenging role that requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent debugging skills, and a solid understanding of software engineering best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience developing complex software applications, with a strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel and experience working with databases and SQL. Experience with large-scale projects using existing frameworks, as well as knowledge of professional software engineering best practices, is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex software applications using PHP and Laravel framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new product capabilities.
  • Review business requirements with stakeholders and ensure product quality through unit testing and supporting QA activities.
  • Maintain high-security standards of developed software.
  • Participate in Performance Reviews, Training Via KnowBE4 Application, Career Development, and Learning & Development as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing complex software applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel.
  • Experience in REST API design and development.
  • Experience working with databases and SQL.
  • Understanding of web technologies and familiarity with front-end frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
