Proximity Learning is looking for a Virtual Teacher to join their team. As a Virtual Teacher, you will be driven by the mission of connecting all learners with expert teachers they deserve, promoting educational equity so every child can reach their full potential.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Virtual Teacher who can develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and pacing guides. The successful candidate will also be responsible for integrating technology to differentiate lessons, engage students, and deepen their understanding of the material.

The Virtual Teacher will teach synchronously during regular school hours (4-hour minimum) and grade assignments to track student progress. Additionally, they will provide constructive feedback to support student learning and growth, inspiring them to reach their full potential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • You must have an active US state-issued Biology teaching certification (International certifications are not accepted).
  • A Social Security number.
  • Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and resources.
