A Visual Storyteller for Social Media

About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team and help create engaging content for social media platforms. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for crafting compelling stories that resonate with our audience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in editing videos for social media or documentaries and be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. They will also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the marketing and content teams to align on campaign objectives and creative direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-quality video content for social media platforms using CapCut and other AI video editing software tools.
  • Conduct training sessions with video editors to improve their efficiency and quality when creating social media ads.
  • Create platform-specific video content tailored for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Design and edit visually appealing videos that captivate viewers within the first few seconds.
  • Seamlessly integrate internal video footage with stock footage to create cohesive narratives.
  • Implement compelling text overlays and animations to enhance the video's message.
  • Select music tracks that resonate with the video's messaging and amplify viewer engagement.
  • Understand and implement video editing techniques that resonate with the target customer for the specific product or brand being advertised.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of video editing experience.
  • Experience in editing videos for social media or documentaries.
  • Openness to experimenting with AI tools that can improve current workflows in terms of efficiency and quality output.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your best video edits for social media and/or documentaries.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for storytelling through visuals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
