About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Database Developer to join our team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing database solutions that support finance operations.

  • You will develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Design and generate financial reports and dashboards using tools like SSRS, Power BI, or Crystal Reports.
  • Optimize SQL queries for high performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain and improve existing database structures and processes.
  • Implement data integration solutions to synchronize data across different systems.
  • Ensure data availability and enforce best practices for source control management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Log, track, and manage enhancement requests and defects using a ticketing system.
  • Provide application support for Finance Modules within the Policy Administration System (PAS).
  • Analyze and troubleshoot finance-related data issues and propose corrective actions.
  • Conduct data analysis to support reconciliation, audits, month-end closing, and other financial processes.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in database development, particularly in the finance domain.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with development, testing, and infrastructure teams.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to backend development, data warehouse / data lake.
