Building Automation Maintenance Technician

The Building Automation Maintenance Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of building systems, encompassing HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing. This position requires a diligent individual who can work collaboratively with Senior Technicians and Engineers to deliver exceptional after-sales support and execute installations for upgrades and expansions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough repairs, calibrations, and maintenance of automation systems for HVAC Solutions, CCTV, Access Controls, Securities & Fire System Solutions
  • Utilize various measuring instruments, including temperature, pressure, humidity, voltage, current, and other physical quantities
  • Analyze technical drawings and schematic diagrams to inform decision-making
  • Perform minor AC and plumbing mechanical repairs as needed
  • Provide assistance to other Maintenance team members when required
  • Verify the operation of the BMS Workstation
  • Function as a BMS Operator

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Electrical or Electronics technician/vocational course
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Internet Browser
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in testing instruments and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with safe work practices
