Job Overview

The Email Marketing Strategist plays a pivotal role in devising and implementing data-driven marketing strategies tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and goals.
  • Develop, formulate, and execute email, SMS, and other retention marketing strategies to drive campaign performance.
  • Communicate insights and reports on performance to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Work closely with the Client Strategy Manager to manage multiple client accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Activations team to ensure thorough strategy alignment and execution.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional services to clients to expand their marketing efforts.
  • Share industry insights and information with marketing teams to position the company as a thought leader.
Key Outcomes & Accountabilities
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies that meet client needs.
  • Account Management: Manage retention marketing programs for multiple brands, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Client Understanding: Demonstrate a deep understanding of client business needs and translate them into marketing strategies.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze and track data to maximize the performance of email and other retention marketing campaigns.
  • Client Communication: Communicate marketing insights and reports on performance, and plan for further development.
  • Team Alignment: Ensure the Activations team has clear instructions and is aligned with the overall strategy.
  • Service Expansion: Successfully upsell and cross-sell services, increasing revenue and client engagement.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide valuable industry insights to marketing teams to enhance the company's reputation as an industry leader.
