Web Developer - Custom WordPress Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer with expertise in custom WordPress solutions to join our team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Create custom WordPress websites using themes, plugins, HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript/jQuery.
    • Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support.
    • Effectively communicate project progress, milestones, and timelines.
  • Content Management:
    • Manage and update website content, including images, text, multimedia elements, and other assets.
    • E nsure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of website content.
  • Website Optimization:
    • Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and search engine optimization (SEO).
    • Enhance user experience and improve search engine rankings through image optimization, caching, and sitemap management.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
    • Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors in websites.
    • Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance tasks to ensure website security and stability.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance procedures to ensure websites meet project requirements and functionality.
    • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and pixel-perfect implementation of design elements.
  • Documentation and Research:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of website development, customization, and configuration processes.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress web development.

Requirements:

  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a WordPress Web Developer.
    • In-depth knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
    • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, and graphics editing.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills:
    • LMS setup/customization.
    • Membership systems.
    • Server setup, DNS record maintenance.
