Accountant Role Overview

As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial statements. Your expertise in accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting will be essential in providing high-quality services to our organization.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in accounting, with a proven track record of preparing, examining, and analyzing financial statements. You will also be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Accounting Function Oversight: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Bank Reconciliation and Cash Flow Monitoring: Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
  • Budgeting and Financial Planning: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required).
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
