Product Development Roles

Overview

This is a role for an innovative and detail-oriented professional who will be involved in the entire product development process.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a product development role, preferably within the baby, kids or toys categories, with end-to-end experience from ideation, validation, sourcing, sample validation, quality inspection, and mass production.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will work across multiple functions to transform initial concepts into viable commercial products.
  • Conduct market research to identify and evaluate new product ideas with a customer-centric approach to validate the ideas.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers, communicate requirements such as specifications, costs, MOQ, lead time, order and evaluate samples, and select the ideal supplier for each project.
  • Coordinate with other team members, such as product designers, legal, compliance, and quality to ensure that final sample designs and quality meet expectations.
  • Work with marketing teams or external agencies to ensure marketing-related deliverables are completed according to timeline and brand guidelines.
  • Manage project timelines, keep stakeholders updated, and ensure each project is completed and launched on schedule.
Qualifications
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and motivated to push projects forward with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience dealing with suppliers in and out of China.
