Validation Specialist

This is a remote position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of equipment, facilities, and computerized systems.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing commissioning, qualification, and validation protocols to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Key responsibilities include defining user requirements, developing test scripts, and conducting validation testing for computer systems.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • A strong understanding of risk assessments and validation plans is necessary to mitigate potential risks.
  • Responsibilities also include generating and maintaining validation documentation, such as protocols, reports, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ongoing participation in change control processes is required to assess the impact of changes on validated systems.
  • Investigating and resolving deviations related to validation activities is critical to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required. A minimum of 3-5 years of validation engineering experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Experience in Commissioning, Qualification, Validation (CQV) Engineering and Computer System Validation (CSV) Engineering is essential. Strong technical writing and documentation skills are also required.
