Job Overview:

The Corporate Accountant will oversee financial reporting, payroll, tax compliance, and audits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Philippine regulations and global standards. This role involves preparing reports, handling transactions, and supporting the company's financial operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Management Accounts:
    • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely management accounts, including monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and variance analyses, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines.
    • Conduct monthly variance analysis, comparing actual performance against the budget, and provide insights to support management decisions.
    • Provide ad hoc financial reports and analyses as required by Group Finance.
  • Transaction Management:
    • Oversee the purchase ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
    • Manage sales ledger operations, including invoicing, payment processing, and customer account reconciliations.
    • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
    • Calculate and process monthly intercompany recharges, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
    • Reconcile intercompany accounts, maintaining accurate and consistent records across all Anthesis Group entities.
  • Payroll Processing:
    • Import and validate bi-monthly timesheets to ensure accurate payroll processing.
    • Administer payroll operations in accordance with company policies and applicable tax and labor regulations.
    • Ensure the correct handling of employee onboarding, terminations, and payroll adjustments.
    • Reconcile payroll data to verify the accuracy of wages, deductions, and entitlements before final approval.
    • Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
    • Keep up to date with legislative changes affecting payroll and ensure continued compliance.
  • Tax Compliance and Audit:
    • Ensure the accurate and timely filing of all local tax returns, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements to avoid penalties.
    • Maintain strict compliance with Group standards and Philippine regulations across all financial and reporting tasks.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during local audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
    • Assist with group audits, ensuring local financial records align with Anthesis Group's global reporting standards.
