Equipment Expert

RXC Recruitment Inc. seeks a seasoned Technical Expert to oversee the performance of our manufacturing engineering team. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in driving smooth project execution through effective issue resolution.

To succeed in this position, the applicant should have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in machine maintenance, with specific knowledge in both electrical and mechanical systems. While a degree is not required, significant experience counts. Fluent Japanese language skills (N2/N1/Native level) are essential; holding a JLPT Certificate is highly desirable.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Directing the manufacturing engineering team in addressing repeated technical concerns hindering project timeliness.
• Coordinating departmental metrics such as Labor and Machine Productivity, Quality Process, and Standard Costs effectively.
• Identifying opportunities for enhancing equipment capabilities to minimize production downtimes and failures.
• Hosting regular team meetings to tackle shared challenges and explore improvement ideas.
• Identifying suitable local fabrication projects to optimize resource usage.
• Addressing enhancement requests from other departments aimed at quality and operational excellence.
• Thoroughly examining critical machine malfunctions and prescribing prompt corrective actions.
• Ensuring the work environment adheres to stringent organizational standards.
• Providing guidance, mentorship, and educational support to the team members.
