Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to lead our corporate reporting efforts. This role involves overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and other key deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the preparation of financial statements, including compiled NTR and T2 returns.
  • Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address their needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop engagement strategies and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation and working papers to support engagement work.
  • Participate in planning meetings and provide input on project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management and suggest improvements to workflow and internal systems.

Accountability and Contribution to Firm Growth

  • Demonstrate personal accountability by owning outcomes and maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recurring issues in your own work or across the firm and suggest improvements.
  • Assist with documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on real workflow gaps.
  • Actively participate in firm-wide improvement initiatives even when they fall outside your direct responsibilities.
