The Opportunity

This role involves working with the Buildings Team to assist in the accomplishment of assigned projects and deliver accurate drawings, calculations, and analysis.

As a graduate, you'll transition from academic learning to real-world applications, working on diverse projects that challenge your problem-solving skills and creativity. This structured environment will help you develop technical skills, gain hands-on experience, and receive mentorship from experienced engineers.

Your Role in Our Team

  • Create coordinated discipline parametric models for analysis and documentation.
  • Provide project teams with engineering information and data from the project.
  • Produce BIM deliverables according to industry and company standards.
  • Automate tasks on projects as part of the workflow, when possible.
  • E nsure compliance to BEP and LOD requirements.
  • Offer technical support to less experienced staff members.
  • Delegate and review key activities of team members, where appropriate.
  • E nsure project deliveries meet agreed-upon timelines and quality standards.
  • Represent the group in internal meetings.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on drawings and model status to project leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum five years' relevant experience in 2D drawing production/3D parametric modeling of project information models.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in multi-discipline (Structural) modeling.
  • Proficient technical skills in CAD/BIM and design review applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Desirable programming skills in Dynamo.
  • Knowledgeable about BIM software interoperability with other engineering design software.
  • Experience with BIM360 and ProjectWise set-up is preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic engineering principles.
  • Able to work effectively within a team and independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
