Job Overview

Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions for clients worldwide.

  • Create effective solutions that meet client needs in terms of architectural patterns, functional modules, integration with third-party products, standards, investments, processes, and technology.
  • Develop solution definition documents for change or transformation projects and document client architectures using enterprise architecture tools.
  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into information system or service solutions, driving selection based on cost efficiency, competitiveness, STP and Back Office efficiency, and strategic objectives.
  • Assist clients with consulting mandates on Solution Architecture topics and bring a high-level perspective into functional or system analysis during feasibility studies, solution definitions, and projects.
  • Support project managers in planning the solution aspects of large transformation programs, including cost estimations.

You will work closely with senior architects to deliver customer-facing activities, including consulting, solutions definition, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement end-to-end solutions for clients worldwide.
  2. Develop solution definition documents and document client architectures.
  3. Analyze client requirements and translate them into information system or service solutions.
  4. Drive solutions selection based on criteria such as cost efficiency and competitiveness.
  5. Assist clients with consulting mandates on Solution Architecture topics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Long-running experience in Avaloq implementation projects, including integration of third-party systems.
  • Up-to-date knowledge on business and IT architecture patterns, methods, and tooling.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Consulting attitude and experience, to be authoritative and convincing in business discussions with clients.
  • Fluency in English.

A bonus would be fluency in additional languages, as well as formal certification in areas like Avaloq, TOGAF, ITIL, Open Group, Cloud, Openshift/REST APIs, Digital and Mobile, Bank Industry certifications.
