About the Role:

This role involves creating engaging and effective learning activities and compelling course content in collaboration with subject matter experts from various regions and potentially globally.

Key Tasks:

  1. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify required learning outcomes and target learner populations.
  2. Identify the most suitable delivery mechanisms (e-learning, virtual classroom, face-to-face, etc.).
  3. Create instructional end goals and design content that matches them.
  4. Visualize instructional graphics, user interfaces, and finished products for e-learning.
  5. Design learner interactivity (exercises, activities, etc.) to enhance the learning process and learner experience.
  6. Develop supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.).
  7. Devise assessment modes, such as tests or quizzes, to measure course effectiveness and learner outcomes.
  8. Review and recommend improvements or replacements for poor-quality or outdated learning content.
  9. Maintain alignment of new content implementation, including prerequisites and related/interdependent courses.

Required Skills:

  • PREFERRED: Some college coursework or an associate degree in any field; certification in instructional design.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and multimedia formats (jpg, MP4, MP3).
  • Technical expertise in Learning Management Systems and e-Learning Content authoring tools.
  • Visual design skills (e.g., Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts.
  • Several years of working experience in instructional design.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and e-learning.
  • Project Management – Basic understanding of project initiation, planning, steering, controlling, and finalizing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of learner needs and partnership skills – ability to partner with SMEs and Talent-Learning Leaders to co-create learning solutions.
