As a key team member, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining software that powers our platform. With a proactive approach to problem-solving and an outcome-oriented mindset, you will effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications through close collaboration with product owners and stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration and software component delivery.
  • Participate in designing, developing, and implementing new features/software products while enhancing/maintaining existing ones.
  • Perform quality assurance testing on your work and others to ensure reliability.
  • Review code submissions, ask clarifying questions, provide constructive guidance, and maintain a healthy codebase.
  • Ensure timely delivery of software projects while upholding established quality standards.
  • Continuously enhance technical knowledge and share insights with the team.
  • Assist in diagnosing system issues and implementing effective resolution strategies.
  • Proactively identify, solve, and prevent problems related to software development and project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, encompassing frontend, backend, and DevOps, with proficiency in Java frameworks, especially Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in frontend development tools and frameworks, including Vanilla JS and React.
  • Competency in Object-Oriented Design, functional programming, and scripting.
  • Familiarity with modern software architectures (e.g., microservices) and deployment tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker).
  • Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
  • Robust problem-solving skills.
Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to work on legacy code, particularly the Struts Framework.
  • Updated with technology landscape, including current and future trends.
  • Proven track record in various software development projects.
  • Proficiency in system-level design and web services.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks, spanning unit and integration testing.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability to changing conditions and priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
