Job Description

The position of Backend Developer involves working closely with our lead developer to implement backend features based on clear specifications. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented developer who thrives on following established patterns and producing reliable, well-tested code.

Responsibilities
  • Implement backend services and features using Node.js and JavaScript
  • Follow established coding conventions and architectural guidelines
  • Conduct thorough manual QA and testing of implemented features
  • Read and understand detailed requirements and ask clarifying questions when needed
  • Collaborate with the lead engineer to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality
  • Excellent ability to follow established coding styles and conventions
  • Proven track record of implementing features based on written requirements and specifications
  • Experience with manual QA and testing methodologies
  • Strong reading comprehension and the ability to ask clarifying questions
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
  • Self-motivated and effective in a remote-work environment
