Electric Vehicle Project Coordinator Role

As a detail-oriented and proactive EV project coordinator, you will oversee and streamline electric vehicle charger installation projects. This role involves acting as the bridge between internal teams, utility companies, permitting authorities, and clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with utility companies and municipal permitting departments.
  • Track permits, applications, and approvals, escalating delays when necessary.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including service request forms, utility maps, and permit packages.
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables using project management software.
  • Verify installation readiness, including utility upgrades, permits, and material availability.
  • Provide technical input leveraging your electrical knowledge to collaborate with engineers and inspectors.
  • Communicate project status and timelines clearly with clients.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination/management within electrical, construction, or utility sectors.
  • Strong familiarity with electrical systems and ability to interpret one-line diagrams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management software is a plus.
