Job Description:

As a key member of the People360 Consulting Corporation team, the Transportation Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on company vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other scheduled tasks.
  • Logbook Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks for all company vehicles, including kilometre readings, destinations, and other relevant information.
  • Driver Licensing and Certification: Ensure that all drivers have the necessary licenses and certifications to operate company vehicles.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Familiarize yourself with and comply with all relevant land transportation laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Defensive Driving: Demonstrate defensive driving skills and techniques to ensure safe operation of company vehicles.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct regular pre-trip inspections of company vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy and emission compliant.
  • Vehicle Security: Secure and safeguard company vehicles at all times, including when parked or in transit.
  • Accident and Incident Response: Know how to respond in the event of an accident or incident involving a company vehicle.
  • Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health (QESH) Guidelines: Familiarize yourself with and comply with the organization's QESH guidelines and policies.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
