About The Role

We're looking for a hands-on, results-driven marketer to own and execute our organic social media presence and influencer marketing program. You'll lead our content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms—creating content yourself, engaging our audience, and building partnerships with influencers and experts.

This is a full-time contract role structured as a monthly retainer. It's an opportunity for someone who's hungry to take ownership of a mission-driven brand's organic presence and grow into a full-time hire as the company scales.

You'll need to be a self-starter who moves fast, adapts quickly, and thrives in both the creative and analytical sides of social. You're not just an executor—you're a sharp thinker who brings ideas to the table, tests them with intention, and iterates based on what works. You understand how to communicate clearly, create efficiently, and make decisions rooted in data and insight. A personal connection to the subject matter is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Owning strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other organic channels
  • Developing and managing a rolling content calendar that supports business priorities
  • Concepting, writing, shooting, and editing content—including short-form video and original graphics
  • Writing clear, engaging, and on-brand copy that brings our voice and content pillars to life
  • Responding to comments and mentions; engaging with aligned brands and creators to build community
  • Tracking performance and reporting regularly; using insights to inform what's next
  • Continuously surfacing ideas, testing them, and adjusting based on what the data shows

Influencer Marketing

  • Identifying and engaging influencers and creators aligned with our brand and mission
  • Negotiating mutually beneficial terms, starting with product seeding and growing into paid collaborations
  • Managing influencer partnerships end-to-end: outreach, contracting, briefing, asset review, and performance tracking
  • Ensuring influencer content aligns with marketing campaigns and delivers ROI
  • Maintaining a clear, organized system for tracking outreach, activations, and results

Qualifications

  • 4-6+ years of experience managing brand social media and influencer programs
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling short-form video content
  • Strong video editing and graphic design skills
  • Proven track record of growing followers and engagement across platforms
  • Deep understanding of platform best practices, content formats, and audience behavior
  • Excellent copywriting and editorial judgment
  • Highly analytical thinking
  • Personal connection to the topics we cover or deep interest in learning about them
