Job Overview

Cobden & Carter International is a leading player in the field of Cyber Security, seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join our team. As a key member of our Security Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and security of our systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development and Implementation: Develop, document, and implement processes within the Security Operations Center (SOC) and relevant reports to enhance our security posture.
  • Tech Monitoring and Innovation: Actively monitor new and emerging Security Infrastructure-related technologies, trends, issues, and solutions to stay ahead of potential threats.
  • Technology Core Values: Adhere to and champion the Technology core values and principles to maintain a secure and reliable environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Engage directly with Security Infrastructure teams and other Technology groups on projects and initiatives that strengthen our overall security posture.
  • Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate across different teams and functions to address security events and create process flows.
  • Operational Demands: Prioritize tasks, work well under pressure, and thrive in an operational environment with high demands.
  • Security Gaps and Remediation: Proactively identify and remediate security gaps in our infrastructure to ensure information integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven years of relevant experience, preferably in managing and operating SIEM and IPS systems.
  • Security Solutions: Experience in security solutions like Log Correlation, Parsing, and Auditing, Packet Analysis, and System Data Gathering.
  • Networking Fundamentals: Knowledge of foundational networking basics and common protocols from Data-link to Application Layer.
  • Vulnerability Management: Knowledge in Vulnerability Management and practical use cases for common attacks and best practices.
  • Incident Response: Strong background in security incident response, root cause analysis, triage, and remediation.
  • Industry Background: Banking/Financial industry background is a plus.
Work Setup

We offer a hybrid work setup with a day shift schedule. Our location is in Taguig, PH.
