  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud solutions based on best practices and industry standards, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Manage and monitor AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, RDS databases, S3 buckets, VPCs, and other services, to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost optimization.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security measures, including IAM policies, security groups, encryption, and access controls, to protect against potential threats and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Automate cloud operations tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform), to improve productivity and reduce human error.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, performance, and availability, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with AWS services, tools, and technologies to continuously improve cloud infrastructure and processes, ensuring Ekkremis Solutions Inc. remains at the forefront of cloud computing innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS.
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate or higher certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
