Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports are produced.
  3. Manage the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
  4. Assist the Chief Finance Officer in daily banking requirements.
  5. Process payable transactions accurately and on time.
  6. Perform Bank Compliance activities monthly and quarterly.
  7. Support budget and forecasting activities.
  8. Enhance department work procedures for efficiency while maintaining accuracy.
  9. Advise staff on non-routine reporting transactions.
  10. Respond to inquiries from the Director of Finance, Controller, and Management regarding financial results.
  11. Collaborate with the Chief Finance Officer for a clean and timely year-end audit.
  12. SUPERVISE the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  13. Develop and implement new procedures to enhance workflow.
  14. Provide training as needed.
  15. Handle personnel issues.
  16. Work with direct reports to establish goals and objectives.
  17. Support the Chief Finance Officer with special projects and process improvements.
