Job Overview

The Ateneo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical and Telecommunications Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and telecommunications services within our university.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and assign work for maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct semi-annual inventories of assigned tools and equipment, including automatic transfer switches, main breakers, magnetic contactors, wiring, lighting, and other electrical accessories connected to 220V and 380V.
  • Maintain the upkeep of workstations and tools, requesting repairs when necessary.
  • Inspect circuit breakers and electrical components to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Implement general electrical maintenance and circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
  • Repair electrical equipment as indicated in job requests.
  • Service electrical control, wiring, lighting systems, and fixtures.
  • Clean workstations and tools, repairing them when necessary, and using them as intended and according to standards.
  • Oversee repairs regarding telecommunication and implement maintenance activities on all PABX systems.
  • Determine how lines are connected and set up the most efficient connections.
  • Perform other duties required by the immediate supervisor and authorized representatives.

Requirements

  • Registered Master Electrician certification.
  • TESDA certification relevant to home and building electrical servicing.
  • At least 3 years of work experience handling 400 volts and secondary transformers.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in handling low voltage gear switch and telecommunication works.
