Accounting Role

We are seeking an accomplished Accounts Receivable Accountant to assume key responsibilities in the accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all accounting tasks pertaining to assigned properties, including preparing commercial billing, sending tenant statements, and posting leases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and send timely commercial billing, tenant statements, and post leases accurately
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants and property management companies to ensure smooth collections of delinquent accounts
  • Manage accounting processes related to property acquisition and disposition activities
  • Coordinate sales tax forms preparation and submission for processing
  • Produce comprehensive reports for the accounting team management
Requirements:
  • Relevant accounting degree required; CPA license is mandatory
  • Minimum 2-4 years of full-time accounting experience; real estate accounting experience preferred
  • Broad-based knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent organizational skills, including prioritization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Yardi software advantageous
