We are a dynamic and growing Business Process Outsourcing company, seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of dedicated paralegal experience within an Australian law firm, with expertise in legal documentation, case management, and client liaison.
Experience in Abuse and Personal Injury law is desirable but not essential.
Job Description:
As a Paralegal at enablesGROUP, you will play a critical role in supporting our dynamic legal team with efficiency and precision.
You will be responsible for managing case files, conducting legal research, coordinating with external parties, monitoring case progress, and supporting senior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and Manage Case Files: Ensure accurate and compliant case file management, including legal documents and correspondence.
- Conduct Detailed Research: Prepare detailed case summaries and reports, using industry-standard research methods.
- Client Liaison: Coordinate with legal teams and external parties, maintaining clear communication and follow-up.
- Case Progress Tracking: Monitor case progress, track deadlines, and maintain up-to-date case management systems.
- Support Senior Staff: Attend client meetings, take notes, and summarise client queries and case information for senior staff.
- Document Review: Review, format, and proofread documents, ensuring adherence to legal standards and firm protocols.
- Court Assistance: Assist barristers and solicitors with court preparation, filings, and trial documents.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Paralegal Experience: Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience within an Australian law firm. Experience working in a Personal Injury practice group preferred.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in case management systems and legal documentation.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.
- Prioritisation: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
