As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing feed, medical supplies, equipment, construction materials, and other necessary items for our Piggery Business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Assist the Purchasing Manager in identifying and selecting vendors to meet the needs of the business.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Collaborate with vendors to negotiate prices, terms, and conditions of purchases.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory, and ensure that materials and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Production and Sales departments to ensure timely procurement of materials and goods to meet the needs of the business.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to procurement and supply chain management, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant information, and analyze data to inform procurement decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
