Job Description:
Enterprise Data Governance ExpertHunter's Hub, Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Governance Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance strategies that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams to create data testing strategies and develop automated tests for data assets.
- Design, monitor, and maintain data quality reports, KPIs, and trends for internal data systems.
- Create data quality test plans and test cases, and execute and automate data quality test cases.
- Analyze large and complex data sets for quality issues related to uniqueness, completeness, validity, consistency, timeliness, integrity, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with data engineers, application developers, business owners, and data operations teams to ensure the accuracy of production data pipeline designs and implementations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or 3+ years' experience with corporate data management systems in high-compliance contexts.
- Data management-related certifications (e.g., CDMP certification) are a plus.
- Ability to read/write SQL queries.
- Experience working in a Big Data environment, dealing with large diverse data sets.
- Hands-on experience in Python.
- Demonstrated knowledge of structured testing methodology, with a proven ability to break down business requirements/functional/non-functional requirements into high and detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Strong communication/organizational skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
