Job Description

The Associate Solutions Consultant will work as a part of a team responsible for the internal implementation of Med-Metrix's Suite of Revenue Cycle Technology including, but not limited to, Hospital and Professional Fee Front End Patient Access Workflow, Patient Accounting Workflow, and Denials Management Workflow.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in internal assessment meetings with Accounts Receivable Services department to ascertain existing workflow processes to develop design documentation in Visio that uses best practice recommendations of the AnalytX Suite of Revenue Cycle Technology
  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of business needs, expectations, and requirements for each implementation
  • Responsible for the translation of Visio documentation to pseudocode intended for the Development and QA Teams
  • Ability to problem solve and analyze errors based on user acceptance testing results
  • Ability to work with large data sets to identify potential improvement opportunities and present data to support these recommendations to the project team
  • Support of clients utilizing the AnalytX Suite of Products after deployment
  • Diagnose application bugs and gather supporting technical documentation of issues working directly with the Development and QA Teams to ensure all rules and actions are programmed to match processes outlined during design
  • Lead ongoing support calls with existing customers post Go Live
  • Use, protect and disclose patients' protected health information only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years prior experience in implementing and/or supporting software applications
  • Experience documenting business rules and technical processes into logical structures and diagrams
  • Ability to understand complex software applications
  • Proven capability specifically with MS Excel and/or MS SQL Server with a desire to expand on those capabilities
  • Able to prioritize workload and work effectively with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to work concurrently on multiple projects with several teams.
