Job Description">

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the maintenance and strategic planning of our fleet. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal utilization and availability of our transit mixers, dump trucks, pumpcretes, and support equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily dispatch readiness in coordination with Operations to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols for drivers and maintenance personnel to minimize risks and optimize workplace safety.
Maintenance Oversight
  • Direct and provide guidance to Maintenance Heads and Supervisors to ensure effective maintenance programs are implemented and schedules are approved.
  • Evaluate roadworthiness, compliance, and good running condition of all vehicles and equipment to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and track fleet performance metrics (KPIs) to measure downtime and repair costs, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Strategic Planning
  • Collaborate with top management to develop medium- and long-term strategies for fleet expansion, replacement, and retirement, aligning with business objectives.
  • Recommend and justify capital expenditures for vehicles and heavy equipment based on thorough analysis and research.
  • Implement fuel management and cost control measures to optimize resources and reduce waste.
Team Management
  • Lead by example, providing accountability and mentorship to the maintenance teams, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Review performance and develop training programs to enhance skills and address knowledge gaps within the team.
  • Foster open communication between maintenance, operations, and top management to ensure alignment and smooth collaboration.
