Backend Engineer

This is a remote position where you will collaborate with backend engineers to create high-quality software.

Job Description:
  • Design and implement robust and scalable applications in partnership with fellow backend developers.
  • Mentor junior developers to improve their skills and knowledge, enhancing the team's overall proficiency.
  • Contribute to code reviews to ensure that the developed code meets the company's high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Participate in the continuous enhancement process by identifying areas for improvement and implementing new features, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of experience in backend development, with a strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript (Node.js ecosystem) and advanced experience in Python, including popular frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and Django.
  • Solid experience with RESTful API design and GraphQL, along with proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Strong understanding of system design, asynchronous programming, and event-driven systems, with experience in Docker, microservices, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and maintenance of software applications.
