We are seeking a professional with strong project management skills to join our team as a Communications Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing tactical communications plans that support our strategic goals.

Job Description

This is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned communications expert to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive both the organization's mission and message. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing effective strategies to communicate, market, and connect with various audiences and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the communications process, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in change management and knowledge of policy/culture change are a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute tactical communications plans that support our strategic goals.
  • Manage a variety of communication channels, including website, email, and print.
  • Write and edit content for a variety of audiences.
  • Source, create, and manage visual assets, such as infographics, videos, and presentations.
  • Work with other teams to ensure that communications are aligned with the overall goals.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of communications efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Experience with social media and other digital channels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
