At Nexus Recruitment Group, we are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Expert to lead our IT advisory engagements. As part of this role, you will be responsible for scoping and leading complex projects involving data analytics, IT risks, IT governance, and IT application controls.

Your primary focus will be on coordinating with clients at various engagement phases, providing continuous oversight of the accounts assigned, and reviewing detailed work programs, final reports, and other deliverables of the engagement team.

You will also present findings or results and collaborate with clients in designing solutions, providing technical guidance, and supporting the development of less experienced team members.

This is an excellent opportunity to act as a subject matter specialist for various advisory engagements requiring DA and IT knowledge and expertise.

To succeed in this role, you will need to stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to our clients' businesses and remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.

We are looking for a logical thinker and problem solver with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as people management experience, including the ability to lead a team as a role model in coaching and developing others.

Motivate direct reports and foster teamwork to ensure a high standard of performance, while being willing to handle global engagements and work in a shifting schedule.

Requirements:
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in accounting and auditing skills
  • Knowledge in using data and analytics tools (SQL, Python, or Power BI) would be an advantage
  • Demonstrable experience of data projects covering the full creation to consumption data lifecycle (data sourcing, management, quality, reporting & analytics), preferably
  • Professional experience with development (i.e., not only use) and validation of modeling solutions/platform (including Python, SAS, and/or R)
  • Logical thinker and problem solver with excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • People management - Ability to lead a team as a role model in coaching and developing others
  • Motivate direct reports and foster teamwork to ensure a high standard of performance
