Job Description
  • We are seeking an experienced architect to work with our project teams to design solutions that incorporate practical plans for implementation.
  • You will be responsible for understanding UHG technology design patterns and standards, as well as the current project technology ecosystem.
  • Your expertise in React framework and RESTful services will enable you to create system architecture diagrams to communicate designs, workflows, and dependencies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Design solutions that involve new and complex integration patterns with other internal UHG technology platforms.
  2. Work with delivery teams to carry out the design, answering questions and being available to resolve unexpected blockers.
  3. Review items delivered by the delivery team, including code and testing.
  4. Comply with employment contract terms, company policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant software development experience, including recent work with React framework and RESTful services.
  • Solid communication skills, including leading architectural design meetings.
  • Proven collaboration within the team and with supply chain teams.
  • Experience with React framework, including hooks and component architecture.
  • State management using tools like Redux or React Query.
  • Performance Optimization: code splitting, lazy loading, memorization.
  • API design for RESTful services and GraphQL.
  • Authentication/Authorization patterns such as OAuth.
  • Azure cloud concepts, including App Services and Application Insights.
  • Design principles, including SOLID principles and clean architecture.
  • Data security, including encryption; Knowledge of security tools like Twistlock, SonarQube.
