Global IT and Facilities Leader

About the Opportunity:

Lead a global team to drive strategic, hands-on leadership of our IT infrastructure and facilities operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans for our global IT infrastructure and facilities management.
  • Drive collaboration and performance across distributed teams, fostering innovation and excellence.
  • Oversee enterprise systems including Windows Server, Active Directory, VPN, DNS, and RDS.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for system performance, availability, and security.
  • Ensure robust cybersecurity, backups, disaster recovery, and compliance measures are in place.
  • Manage global IT assets with precision and accountability.
Facilities Management:
  • Oversee global office maintenance, utilities, and equipment upkeep, ensuring optimal conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations, promoting a secure environment.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency response procedures, minimizing disruptions.
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Partner with senior leaders and department heads to align IT and facilities strategy with business objectives.
  • Translate technical concepts into actionable information for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality technical documentation and training, empowering staff with knowledge.
Problem Solving & Innovation:
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, driving rapid resolution.
  • Anticipate risks and implement proactive solutions, staying ahead of emerging threats.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in IT leadership, facilities management, or similar roles (MSP experience is advantageous).
  • Proven success managing networks, servers, security protocols, and IT operations across multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with workplace facilities management and safety compliance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to bridge technical and business conversations effectively.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4, CCNA, Microsoft 365 Administration, or Cybersecurity Fundamentals (desired).
