About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Billing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing our end-to-end billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment from customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage subscription lifecycles in Stripe, including new setups, plan changes, proration, cancellations, reconciliations, and revenue tracking.
  • Represent disputes with banks and card networks, preparing and submitting evidence packets to protect company revenue.
  • Execute and maintain billing workflows in HubSpot, automating tickets and cross-team communication.
  • Support month-end close, including AR aging reports, reconciliations, and cash collection forecasting.
  • Investigate delinquencies, analyze root causes, adjust accounts, and handle outbound collections calls/emails when needed.
  • Partner with Sales & Customer Success to ensure accurate subscription data.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to make AR more efficient and scalable.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of hands-on billing and accounts receivable experience in a SaaS or subscription business.
  2. Proven expertise with Stripe Subscriptions (not just invoice/payment processing).
  3. Direct experience preparing and submitting dispute representation evidence to banks/payment processors.
  4. Strong knowledge of HubSpot for AR/billing workflows.
  5. Familiarity with collections outreach (calls + email), but with a bias toward solving the process and data issues behind delinquency.
  6. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for reconciliations, AR aging, and reporting.
  7. Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning critical AR processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
