Senior Research Scientist - Cyber Security Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions in network detection and response. The ideal candidate will be passionate about turning research into operational production solutions, with a focus on analyzing attacker behavior and developing innovative solutions to address emerging challenges in networking.

About the Role

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including:

  • Researching attacker methodologies and developing innovative solutions to identify detection opportunities
  • Applying machine learning techniques to improve network security and efficiency
  • Performing data analysis to measure efficacy and identify areas for improvement
  • Developing leading-edge prototypes to solve emerging challenges
  • Leveraging threat intelligence from different sources to identify patterns and establish the origin and flow of attacks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Total 8 to 14 years of experience, with at least three years direct or equivalent experience in network-based threats and cyber attacks
  • A strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and network architecture
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with reverse engineering and operating system internals, red teaming techniques, and machine learning algorithms would be beneficial.
