Network and Security Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network and security solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineer who is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends. You will work closely with our sales team to understand customer requirements and design scalable and efficient network architectures that meet their needs.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand different customer requirements and propose network and security-based solutions.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
  • Design scalable and efficient architectures that meet customer's Palo Alto deployment needs.
  • Assist in the development of bill of material (BOM).
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 1 year of related experience in a similar environment.
  • Strong English communication (oral and written) and presentation skills with good listening and comprehension skills.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of Palo Alto Networks products including next-generation firewalls (NGFW), Prisma Cloud, Cortex XDR, and other related security technologies.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of network security principles, threat landscape, as well as cybersecurity framework.
  • Network or security certifications are a plus (not required).
