Job Title: Independent Research Reviewer

About the Role

We are seeking experienced researchers to perform independent reviews of manuscripts for journals and publishers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Manuscripts: Assess novelty, study design and methodology, literature review, results, and conclusions of submitted manuscripts.
  • Provide Constructive Feedback: Offer suggestions for improvement and highlight flaws or omissions in the manuscript.
Requirements
  • Doctoral Degree: Hold a PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Publishing Experience: Have at least two publications in the last two years in your field.
  • Research Expertise: Possess thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within your discipline.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrate excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Communication Skills: Showcase strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
  • Time Management: Be able to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Confidentiality: Commit to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity throughout the review process.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Peer Review Experience: Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Submission Systems: Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems is beneficial.

This role involves working independently, assessing manuscripts, and providing constructive feedback to authors. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in research, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
