Job Overview

The Inventory Accounting Associate will be responsible for managing day-to-day inventory control and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landed cost setup, encoding and analysis, and setup of new codes for new items.
  • Reviewing transaction edit lists from the warehouse and cost checking of transactions.
  • Verifying unit costs used in Purchase Orders and monitoring stock-related transactions.
  • Preparing stock-related documents such as DR transaction edit lists, Transfer of Stocks Slips, Pick-up Slips, and Material Requisition Issuance Slips.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in inventory accounting.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Computerized Accounting Systems and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Amenable to work a 5-day compressed week schedule.
