Key Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description

This leadership position is ideal for an experienced engineer who can oversee and manage existing software tools and systems, accelerating menu data processing workflows.

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the menu data processing pipeline, including matching menu items to cocktails and other alcohol beverage products.

They will also design scalable back-end services in Python for data extraction, transformation, and classification of restaurant menus.

In addition, the candidate will collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate Large Language Model (LLM) pipelines.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
  • Practical experience using Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience building and scaling data-intensive applications.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI API).
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
  • Familiarity with agent-based orchestration or workflow tools.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with team collaboration tools like Jira.
