About the Job

Greetings We are hiring for a challenging position as a Senior Statutory Financial Analyst at GM Philippines Inc. in Manila, Philippines.

The primary responsibilities include providing technical support to analysts and junior analysts, managing local accounting and statutory reporting activities, and overseeing external audits. Additionally, you will contribute to the preparation of financial statements and disclosures based on applicable accounting standards.

To be successful, you must possess significant experience in auditing and financial statement preparation, including knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP).

You will work closely with the Accounting and Finance Manager and collaborate with other engagement teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide support to internal and external auditors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to analysts and junior analysts
  • Manage local accounting and statutory reporting activities
  • Oversee external audits
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and disclosures

Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in auditing and financial statement preparation
  • Knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP
  • Leadership and communication skills
