We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to empower underserved families by facilitating access to care. This involves collecting, reviewing, and accurately tracking required documentation from caregivers and families, conducting outbound calls and responding to inbound inquiries, managing a high volume of daily phone interactions, verifying that all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with state regulations and Medicaid/Medicare requirements, communicating effectively and compassionately with families via phone, text, and email, maintaining well-organized records, monitoring upcoming expirations, and sending timely reminders to prevent lapses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and review required documentation from caregivers and families.
  • Conduct outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries.
  • Manage a high volume of daily phone interactions.
  • Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance of documentation.
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with families.
  • Maintain organized records and monitor expirations.
