Job Title: Operations Associate

The position is for a retail and property management environment in Davao City.

As an Operations Associate you will be responsible in handling the following:

  • Screening, recommending and evaluating merchant applications.
  • Facilitating turnover of mall merchant space and monitoring construction progress or demolition.
  • Assisting in the day-to-day management and administration of operations related functions and processes including Mall Operations, Customer Service, Safety, Security, and Sustainability.
  • Assisting in daily mall inspections to ensure compliance with established mall operating systems and procedures.
  • Assisting in implementing cost savings initiatives and sustainability projects to reduce Direct Operating Expenses (DOEs).
  • Assisting in documenting and analyzing statistical data and reports to identify causes of operations related problems and developing sound recommendations for improvement of policies and processes.
  • Assisting in maintaining high-quality property standards through daily checks and periodic preventive maintenance, security control, and cleanliness of mall premises including parking, service areas, toilets, and other common areas.
  • Assisting in effectively handling all conflicts and dispute situations amongst merchants, customers, and mall visitors with help of security.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or any business/technical related field.
  • Minimum one year related work experience in Operations Management in retail and property management industries.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications specifically MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
  • Above average level of oral and written communication skills including negotiation, presentation, facilitation, and training all levels of the organization.
  • Average level of project management, planning, people management, and leadership.
  • Average level of understanding of mutual interconnection of financial and business operations.
